We are ambitious for every pupil. We recognise that progress looks different for each young person, but we always want pupils to achieve, grow and move forward from their individual starting points.
Reassuring
We provide a reassuring environment for pupils and families. Many young people come to us after difficult educational experiences. We work to rebuild trust, confidence and a sense of belonging.
Empowering
We empower pupils to understand themselves, develop independence, make positive choices and prepare for their next steps in education, training, employment and adult life.
At The Tutorial Foundation, success looks different for every young person. For some pupils, success may mean achieving qualifications or returning to regular learning. For others, it may mean improved attendance, increased confidence, better emotional regulation, stronger relationships, greater independence or a successful transition to their next setting.
We value academic progress, but we also recognise the importance of personal development, wellbeing, communication, resilience and readiness for adulthood. Our aim is to help every pupil make meaningful progress from their own starting point.
