Dear Parents & Carers
As you may know, we have had two positive cases at school since the beginning of term. We are asking all students and staff to test daily for 7 days with a Lateral Flow Test following the last positive case. We will then test onsite students twice weekly.
However, we do still need to be extremely cautious especially as the Lateral Flow Tests aren’t known to be 100% reliable. As a reminder, please see the Covid-19 guidelines which state that if your child displays any of the following symptoms, they must remain at home until they receive a negative PCR test. We have PCR tests that can be collected/posted from the office or applied for online via https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test:
- A new continuous cough
- A high temperature
- A loss of taste or smell
If your child is offsite and you would like to be sent a Lateral Flow Test then please let us know.
